Who We Are
At D.E. Zeilstra, we’ve built our livelihoods on remodeling people’s homes. From the simple to the lavish, we’ve experienced it all and we can help you every step of the way.
About Us
D.E. Zeilstra has been providing prestigious quality custom craftsmanship for over five decades in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The owners’ son, DJ, has taken over operations since his father, David E, passed away in October of 2007. Much of the crew, which was hand picked by David E, still remains. Louie Dasilva, our head foreman, has been with us since 1983.
We proudly serve Barrington, Warren, Bristol, Portsmouth, Newport, and the East Side of Providence, along with the rest of Rhode Island’s East Bay.
We continue to offer competitive pricing, flexible scheduling and high quality work that we guarantee. Every project starts with a consultation so we can understand your goals before putting anything in writing — no matter what you have in mind, rest assured that it is done with extreme care and high quality that will last for many years.
We have the confidence, knowledge and experience needed to complete any project imaginable in residential construction. Over the years we have developed an extensive base of suppliers and subcontractors allowing us to handle all phases of your project.
